As mentioned previously, read Psalms 119 to see what King David said about the Word of God and His pursuit of righteousness. David hungered and thirsted (as his life giving necessity) for God, His righteousness, and His Word. He tells of the satisfaction it brings. David had right standing with God and pursued keeping in right relationship. God’s Word is true and right. It brings good consequences and satisfaction.
We also need to purse righteousness through Jesus and then continue to live out righteousness in our lives. We should not be lukewarm. We should passionately hunger and thirst for God and His righteousness (right way of being and doing), keeping our hearts in His love. We have right standing with the Father through Jesus and we should walk in it. Then, we will be fed and satisfied.
Pursue Father, Yeshua, Holy Spirit, their righteousness, and their Word. If you are not pursuing God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, then it may be a signal that you have become lukewarm. Repent. Be careful, the next stage is “close to dead”. Read about those conditions in Revelation 3: 1-6 and 14-22. Repent. Be encouraged, He does have a remnant who are still alive in Him!
