Hope to be Delivered from Evil

Our Heavenly Father promises us so many heavenly treasures and hopes through Yeshua Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.  We just need to know about His Words and ask Him to work together with us in His promises….to ask, seek, knock, fellowship, and walk with Him in them.

Can we hope and pray to be delivered from evil?  Yes, that is what Yeshua Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord’s prayer.  “Lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil.”

Also, remember Psalm 23 where our Good Shepherd takes us through the valley of death with His rod and staff to comfort us?  Have you ever read Psalm 91 to learn of His protective power and ability to save and deliver?

Again, remember Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1 and Colossians 1 where he encourages us to get revelation of  and be strengthened by His great power and glorious might…that we might endure, have patience, and joy until we are raised up with Him.  And doesn’t He tell us that in Him we are more than conquers and overcomers?  He tells us in Ephesians 6 to put on the full armor of God with prayer!  We need assured hope in order to fight.

So, does it mean we will not have trouble and tribulation in this world?  No.  Jesus flat out told us we would have trouble and with it persecution.  But, He added that we should rejoice in it because He has overcome the world…and we are in Him! (John 16:33)

And He says He will never leave or forsake us!  He tells us that nothing can separate us from His love!  He promises to come back to earth and take us with Him into His kingdom…forever!  We have assured hope in Him.  We realize that we do not put our hope in the idea that evil and trouble will not come against us, but rather that He always helps us to overcome in it.  Do you see the difference? He delivers and rescues us from sin and evil by His own blood, Word, and power.  Yes, IN HIM, we have assured hope of being delivered from and out of evil in this world.

Plus, we have our blessed sure hope and promise that Yeshua Jesus is returning victoriously to make the evil kingdom of this world His own righteous kingdom where He will forever rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords….and we will live there with Him!  That will be total victory over evil! Hallelujah!
